Welcome to the
Sen Research Group at UW-La Crosse!
Electrochemistry & Materials Science Research Lab
Welcome to the Sen Research Group in the Department of Chemistry at UW -La Crosse! Our research explores challenges in the area of energy storage and conversion using experimental techniques in polymer/organic synthesis, inorganic/nano-science, analytical methods, and most importantly, the growing field of electrochemistry.
As a member of the lab, you will have an opportunity to synthesize organic and inorganic nano-sized materials, and test them in real-world devices such as batteries, fuel cells (energy storage) or electrolyzers (energy conversion).
Access to cheap and clean energy is of critical importance to society and the world economy. The development of renewable energy technology is bringing exciting new possibilities!

Positions are currently available for interested students!
We are always interested in collaborations to explore electrochemical properties of novel materials.
